I know most people struggle with SOKE (syndrome of keeping everything) but I know for a fact that a quick declutter session will make you feel great. It’s like therapy.

Starter List Of Declutter Ideas
Clothes
Get rid of any clothes you didn’t use in over a year. Some people recommend 3 or 6 months but I’m being cautious because I don’t want you to have any regrets.
Old Phones
Go through the drawer of shame, find your old phones and throw them away. I always keep one, just in case mine dies and I need a quick replacement.
Books
Are you a reader? If so you’ll not like the idea of giving some books for charity, but why keep the books that you’ll never read again? It’s an awesome and easy way to declutter.
Old Socks
Do you have an emotional attachment with your old socks? If you do, get some help, if not, bin them. Oh, and when you, don’t forget to get some new ones.
Expired Food
Another obvious thing to do when decluttering your home is to find and get rid of all the expired food in your kitchen cabinets.
Broken Toys
I keep asking my kids to donate the toys that they don’t play with but they always say that they want to keep them all. To make some progress, I ask them to give me the ones that are broken or have missing parts. It works, but every time I manage to get rid of a toy, they ask me for new ones.
